Tests of the factorization hypothesis and the determination of meson decay constants.

چکیده
We discuss various tests of the factorization hypothesis making use of the close relationship between semi-leptonic and factorized nonleptonic decay amplitudes. It is pointed out that factorization leads to truely model-independent predictions for the ratio of nonleptonic to semi-leptonic decay rates, if in the nonleptonic decay a spin one meson of arbitrary mass or a pion take the place of the lepton pair. Where the decay constants of those mesons are known, these predictions represent ideal tests of the factorization hypothesis. In other cases they may be used to extract the decay constants. Currently available data on the decays B̄0 → D+π−, D∗+π−, D+̺−, D∗+̺− are shown to be in excellent agreement with the factorization results. A weighted average of the four independent values for the QCD coefficient a1 extracted from the data gives a1 = 1.15± 0.06 suggesting that it may be equal to the Wilson coefficient c1(μ) evaluated at the scale μ = mb.

Final State Interaction Effects in B+→J/ψ π+ Decay
In this research the exclusive decay of is calculated by QCD factorization (QCDF) method and final state interaction (FSI). First, the decay is calculated via QCDF method. The result that is found by using the QCDF method is less than the experimental result. So FSI is considered to solve the decay. For this decay, via the exchange of mesons are chosen for the intermedi...

We used QCD factorization for the hadronic matrix elements to show that the existing data, in particular the branching ratios BR ( ?J/?K) and BR ( ?J/??), can be accounted for this approach. We analyzed the decay within the framework of QCD factorization. We have complete calculation of the relevant hard-scattering kernels for twist-2 and twist-3. We calculated this decays in a special scale ...

In this paper, the decay of Bc+ meson, which consists of two b and c heavy quarks, into the Do and K+ mesons was studied. Given that the experimental branching ratio for this decay was within the range of 3.75*10-5 to 11.16*10-5; it was decided to calculate the theoretical branching ratio by applying the final state interaction (FSI) through the T and cross-section channels. In this process, b...

In this research we described the effective Hamiltonian theory and applied this theory to the calculation of current-current (Q1,2) and QCD penguin (Q3,…,6) c quark decay rates. We calculated the decay rates of semileptonic and hadronic of charm quark in the effective Hamiltonian theory. We investigated the decay rates of D meson decays according to Spectator Quark Model (SQM) for the calculati...

We calculate the decay constants of Ds and D∗ s with B̄0 → D+`−ν and B̄0 → D+D−(∗) s decays. In our analysis we take the factorization method with considering non-factorizable term contributions and used two different form factor behaviours (constant and monopoletype) for F0(q). We also consider the QCD-penguin and Electroweak-penguin contributions in hadronic decays within the NDR renormalizatio...
